Science Incursion

Yesterday’s scientific incursion was a great success. Students participated in a variety of different experiments attempting to find and explore different chemical reactions. The incursion lasted approximately 90 minutes with students being the scientists for five experiments.

Milk and Cheese

Our module is beginning to explore chemical sciences this term. We have been observing different objects and discussion how states of matter can change through manipulation. One question that arose from our exploration was about milk. Students wanted to know how milk was turned into cheese. Here is a link to help people gain some understanding into this change in milk. Swimming – Pyjama day!

On Tuesday October 14th, students will be required to bring their pyjamas to their swimming lesson to in order to learn about water survival. So far, students have been placed into groups and have been learning about the basics of swimming.
